Miller, W Legois We've had snow The world, as far as I can see, is spread with a white blanket of purity I think the snow, as it is to day, is a portrait of my Sophomore year The glimmering brilliance is in attune with my happy Sophomorish ways Who worries over the plight of the world? I am secure in my castle of dreams The crunching snow is fresh and sweet as all the Sophomore girls and the way the wind whips the fleecy flakes of snow into whirlpools of white ness reminds me of the dashing Sophomores No place to go, but, oh, in such a hurry to get there The whistling wind last night sounded just like giggling, Sophomore girls Nothing is more exhilarating than an upper peninsula winter At all the winter attractions there is never a Sophomore miss ing We're always eager to find ways of losing an hour, but when our assignment is due, we've never had enough time in which to do it Like an eternal northerner, our tongues are perpetually threshing the breeze of gossip into actual fact I'm so glad welre no longer the youngest ones of the school True, I've not come into my own yet, as far as social standing of K H, S is concerned, but, like a stiffening winter wind, no one can blame me for pushing a little
