For four years the class of '88 has mumbled through the thee's and thou's of Shakespeare, for four years we have swatted baseballs and dodged volleyballsg for at least three years we tried to understand the basis of foreign government and domestic economicsg we have spent a minimum of two years trying to make sense of the x's and y's of advanced algebra and another two years analyzing bf!- lions and billions of scientific facts. lt was all so we could be handed a piece of paper that said Diploma. The word is symbolic of more than just the paper. It represents twelve years of working toward a goal, it shows that one is willing and able, it tells the world that you are worthy of the title graduate.
