A Balanced Image Lockers slam as the halls fill each morning with jocks, brains, preps, and metal-heads. Every- thing from Pink Floyd to Michael Jackson, Madonna to Metallica, blares from the P.A. Some stu- dents congregate in the halls to catch up on the latest gossip, others make a point of getting to class early in order to get just one more look at their notes be- fore the test, while still others lin- ger around the entrances of the building. As the bell rings, the class brown-noser raises his hand to offer answers to unasked ques- tions. At least two students are face down. on their desks. Some students experience the joy of spotting a VCR in the classroom, some face a teacher collecting homework that they KNOW wasn't assigned. The halls are haunted with the lost souls per- petually going to and from the nurse's office. Despite it all, we still maintain a blanced image. At 1:57, unwary teachers may find themselves trampled by an onslaught of students determined to be out of the building by 1:58. At the same time, other students trek to their afternoon activities. Everyone's different, yet we all are still part of a school we call home for three yearsg Laughing and crying . . . winning and losing . . . succeeding and failing. FUTURE EXPERIENCES. We strive to en- dure and eventually reach that plateau where doors open to reveal new prospects. DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES. Our very dif- ferent, but lovable photographer, Steve Misshula, views his feet in a new light. Wadi.
