The most rewarding of ac- tivities are the traditional visits to hos- pitals and nursing homes during the holiday season. With the help of presi- dent Wendi Flubenfeld and the other dedicated members, the club enjoyed a stupendous year. PAL, organized by Dr. Pavi, pro- vides friendship for young students. It is like the Big Brothers!Sisters pro- gram. Once or twice a week, a friend will go to one of the elementary schools to meet with a young friend. The pals might go to lunch, baseball games, the mall - anything of mutual interest. The relationship is strictly pri- vateg the two often share birthdays, holidays, and other important celebra- tions. lt gives students a chance to make a difference in a young person's life. v Mickey Mouse!
