The ribbon-tied candycane wreaths sold by interact members added a little sweetness to the holiday atmosphere. A tone-deaf football team delivered singing Santa- grams to red-faced students try- ing to melt into the woodwork. The carollers repertoire consist- ed of Jingle Bells fthe first versei a few lines of Frosty and several stanzas of Santa Claus is Coming to Town. The Vienna Boys Choir is still reeling from the football team s attempt at harmony T T T Hearts were lightened by they by SADD members. For some T carrying their ballons around school E became an exercise in T dexterity as folks were seenswith balloons attached everywhere from head to toe. T A T ' ln the true essence of goodwill several clubs combined re- sources andadopted a local fam- ily. The efforts of the holiday sea- son instilled a sense of spirit and A unity that' would last throughout the year. T ' A lheliumefilled balloons delivered ttf SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN With a Ho! Balance of Events Nineteen eighty-eight...the l year for events. Ever since the Back-to-School Bash, this year's student body has poured T interest and enthusiasm into all N school sponsored events. This February, you didn't have to trav- el to Paris or thumb through T Vogue to find the lastest in fa- shionQ..you could see it all right in our own auditorium. Take a Note on Fashion, the music de- partments first annual fashion show was a resounding success. Newly ,crowned a models a.k.a. music students took to the foot- lighted stage before at full house. s The audience was enchanted by T the display of formal and casual , wear., Biff Berko Mistress of Cer- emonies provided the commen- taries as the models pranced down the runways to the snappy tunes of the Jazz band. Perhaps T fone of the greatest attractions was not the clothing but the many door prizes especially the four+hour limo ride. ln any case this new event is sure to be an future. g g increasingly popular one in the SOPHISTICATION: Wearing the popular Sequined-styled dress,is Sharrie Piacenti, escorted by Bart Ayres. READY FOR THE PROM? Showing the au- dience the up-to-date styles in formal wear are seniors Missy Feigelson and Dan Fischer. NUMBER 342? Reading off the lucky numbers to an excited audience is junior Biff Berko. STEPPIN' OUT IN STYLE: Gliding across the stage with poise, modelling seems to come easily to Colleen Esoff and Bobby Marketta. RUNWAY REIGN: Enjoying their moments in the limelight, Mary Birkel and Dan Fi- scher give off an aura of royalty. STREETWISE: Sporting some spring casu- al wear are sophomores Jodie Gluck and Peter Giambalvo. vFashion Show l
