With sleighbells ringing, snow- flakes glistening and the wind nipping, students welcomed the warmth of both friends and the furnace as they arrived at the Winter Wonderland Dance. The rosy-cheeked fun-seekers en- tered a blue, white and silver be- decked gymnasium depicting a Winter Wonderland. The spec- tre of Christmas was not lost on the students who formed a line to sit on Santa's lap, and whisper childhood wishes into his ear. The scene brought back memo- ries of waiting with anticipation for that long requested Pac-man game or pair of roller skates. Ev- eryone danced the night away, covered with glistening tinsel. The student council contributed the basic ingredients of music, decorations and refreshments for the occasion, but the spirit of friendship and holiday cheer pro- vided the icing on the cake.
