Mrs. Virginia Raymer is one of the most enthusiastic and energetic teachers ever to work at Kings Mountain Senior High School. If there is an activity of any kind, chances are good that Mrs. Raymer has had a hand in it. And on top of all this she finds time to teach — and teach well. Her list of projects, programs, and undertakings warrant a book by itself, but to name a few: Mrs. Raymer has been the driving force behind the Junior magazine sale which has met and beaten its goal each year. The proceeds from this project are used for the Junior-Senior Prom and no Jr.-Sr. would be complete without Mrs. Raymer decorating, painting, pushing, and sometimes getting a little angry in order to make the Jr.-Sr. something worth re- membering. She has made the French club a working, productive organization which provides scholarships to students. In the classroom she gives KMSHS students a background in foreign languages that is so necessary for college minded pupils. She has a keen concern for the individual needs of each student and never once hesitates to stay and help if someone has a problem. She comes to school early and stays late. She sells tickets and she entertains in skits. She is active in professional and administra- € ' tive committees. She is outspoken and she ' follows rules to the letter. She is Mrs. Raymer and no one else. She is wonderful.
