National Honor Society The National Honor Society is the only scholastic organization of Kings Mountain High School. The inductions services are held during each school year. In accordance with national standards membership is only extended to juniors and seniors. Scholarship is the main goal for the members of the Na¬ tional Honor Society. Elegibility is based on A or B grades in all subjects and an A in conduct. The high school faculty reviews grade averages, conduct grades, and the general responsibility and integrity of each student. Final admission to the National Honor Society rests with a unanimous de¬ cision of the faculty and administration. Mrs. Charlotte M. Shuford is sponsor of the National Honor Society.
