1970-1971 FRESHMAN YEAR Freshman Class Officers: Peter Wood. President: Nancy Rusnok. Vice-President: Marguerite Baloga, Secretary: Frank Kiernan. Treasurerfi Missing Mr. W. Francis Swingle, Moderator. 30 Reprint from '71 REGIS One very positive student remarke that the measure of success for the Clas of 1974 was reliant almost entirely on it co-educational membership. The pres ence of an increasing female enrollmen contributed an impressive measure 0 spirit which aided the class' socia projects. Their participation in such traditiona events as Homecoming. and also th Freshman-Sophomore Cotillion indi cated a fair amount of leadership on th part of the officers. Other activities of more loosely structured nature im pressed most people on campus. Specif ically, these events included the Christ mas decorating project and their parti cipation in the Student Governmen Carnival. Although their accomplishments were not of an outstanding nature in 1970-71 the Frosh have displayed a certain moti vational drive which should serve as lesson to the upperclassmenfi
