Il With a spirited new coach and new team, the King’s Lassies fought hard and ended a trium- phant season of wins over both college and Industrial League competition. This year’s team consisted of girls who had played high school basketball and some wbo had won all-conference honors. However, because the girls lacked the experience of having played together, the season opened with little promise of success. The final outcome of the season can be attributed to the energy, enthusiasm and determi- nation of Coach Ed Wells, and the girls to produce a winning team. Employing cunning coaching techniques, Coach Wells molded a M ' inning team worthy of facing the stiffest competition.
