EDICATION Many factors are important to a college, some are tangible and some are intangible. A college, like an individual, must grow. In so doing, it encompasses all phases of life-the spiritual, the mental, the physical and the cultural. Progress then becomes theprimary factor in a successful existence. The only alternative is to regress, to stagnate, to lose sight of the greater fields of endeavor and accomplishment. The students, the teachers, the friends and alumni of King's have watched with amazement these past few years as this college plunged wholeheartedly into an expansion program which is still very much under way. This program has brought the additioniof a new educational building, two dormitories for girls, a dormitory for boys, and the newest addition, Barnett Hall, a combination educational and dormitory facility. While we have progressed in these tangible things, we have also progressed in the intangible. Through the years many have labored long and patiently to raise the standards of instruction to provide the best and most modern business education available. Thus, here at King's, progress, the force which encourages us to strive ever onward academically, encourages us to achieve greater strength and expansion. We are indebted to progress for the education it is giving us, but we also look forward proudly to what it will give those who are yet to come. So, to the future greatness of King's, we hereby dedicate the 1963 Kastle to an idea and an ideal-to Progress.
