'U GN 'N FGHE GALISMAN CN FRANK GREEN, who was also a two letter man, was the center on the foothall team and the miler in track, could always he counted on. Wheri the opposing team needed only a few yards for a touchdown, Frank would put his heart and soul into the game and do all in his power to spot the onrushes of the opposition In track, he was an ahle point getter in the mile run. JAY BRADLEY, who was a three letter man, was one of the shiftiest halfhacks in Peoria. When there was punch to he needed. he was always in there for a touch- down, Although Jay was not a regular in haskethall. he played in three-fourths of the games to earn his letter. In baseball jay was a good outfielder and also a dependahle hitter. HAROLD VAUBEL, who was hut a one sport man. played his position exceed' ingly well. the position heing as tackle on the footliall team. As he played in the middle of the line, he was always in the thick of the tight. NYAL ROSZELL, who was also a one sport man, threw the javelin on the track team. He always heaved the javelin around 160 feet, and could he depended upon at least Hrst or second place in the meets in which he participated. JOE GUMMERSON did not take part in athletics his First three years. During his fourth year. he was a good reserve on the haskethall team. joe was also a good track man. IntrafMura1 Athletics NTERfCLASS athletics have always hcen an interesting division of sports, hecausc of the high competition. This year the Senior, junior, Sophomore. and Freshman teams each played seven games. For the first time in intrafmural athletics at K. H.
