M M KGHE I-GALISMAN KINGMAN 0, HAVANA 0 For the third time in as many years, Kingman and Havana fought a tie game, Kingman had the hall inside the fivefyard line on two different occasions and through' out the game Cage and Bradley skirted the ends and weaved their way through the open field for many large gains. The passing comhination, Saurhaugh to Lehman, also functioned smoothly during the entire game. KINGMAN o, CHILLICOTHE I2 The second and last defeat of the season was administered hy the Chillicothe gridders. The first half saw the opponents push over two touchdowns and outplay our hoys most of the half. In the second half, Kingman came hack strong and had the hall in Chillicothe's territory all the time. The second half had just hegun when Kingman opened up and scored in the first few minutes, Fumhles prevented the Blue and Gray from scoring on several occasions, and the game ended with the hall on Chillicothe's fivefyard line. KINGMAN 7, TOULON o A hattered Kingman High team took the field against a heretofore undefeated Toulon foothall team. Four Kingman regulars sat on the sidelines during this game. Lehman and Hoehne were down in their studies while Goodwin and L. Wilscuii were laid up with injuries. Kinney at fullback played his hest game of the year, averaging six yards every time he carried the hall. Saurhaugh scored the touchdown and also the extra point in the closing minutes of play to spell defeat for the visitors. KINGMAN 32, EUREKA O Everyhody looked good in this game. R. Wilsrnn and Green opened up huge holes in the opponent's line and Kinney and Saurhaugh marched through these holes for consistent gains, while Cage and Bradley ran wild in the open field. The defensive work of Anderson and Barrett was very prominent all during the game. KINGMAN 15, FARMINGTON 0 The last hattle of the season saw our hoys run, pass, tackle, and play like demons, although during the preceding week very little practice was held owing to the fact that all memhers of the squad were vaccinated. The Hrst half ended in a 041 tie with neither team holding the edge. After the second half opened, our reverses and douhle reverses, with Cage and Bradley carrying the hall, netted us two spectacular touchf downs. Cage ran fifty yards and Bradley sixty yards on a douhle reverse and a fake reverse. The defensive play of Green stood out in the game. Page 79
