Here she comes, tardy as usual. What a game! Kingman 13, Princeville 14. Debate squad working overtime. Kingman victorious over Trivoli. How easy, io-lo. Loud cheers. Exam week. Time to start reviewing. More of the same thing. Exams. And still more exams. Will they never let us rest? Final verdict, Seniors look pale. Mae returns to Kingman-welcomel Well, how nice! Our surprise party on Mrs, Coale is published in the Star. Mrs. Coale must have overlooked the paper last night and was she surprised?! Parties have a bad effect. Seniors are ill. Debaters working hard. Oh, boy! we love those long hours in the library. The freshmen heat you! FEBRUARY Seniors lose the thrift banner to the juniors. Welcome, Mac. Seniors have theater party. No school. Lincoln's birthday. How many did you get? What? Oh, of course, ,it's Valentines Day. Assembly. We learn how to jump rope. Seniors beat junior girls in curtain raiser. Freshmen win championship in class basketball. Atta time, freshiesl Don't forget to buy your candy apples. The proceeds are for the new shrubbery. Big holiday, Oh, yes, senior book reports, MARCH Who are those hardworking students? Oh, it is the essay contestants and the debaters. March has come like a lion for them. We battle East Peoria first. Mac looks surprised. Seniors get to class on time. Mac is absent, but he picked a good looking sub, so we'll excuse him this time. Concert at Shrine temple. Bus service. First trial debate. Welre not so good. juniors begin work on class play, Ann's Little Affair. Another trial debate: looks bad for us. Concert by high school students of the city.
