As we look back we will remember the traditions we've shared, the ideals we've established, the goals we've set, and the friendships we've formed. Although, at this time, these things seem to be the very essence of life it'self, they will soon retreat to a corner of our mind as we rise to meet a new world. The good times, the heartbreaks, and the growing, sharing, and experiencing were all part of our four memorable years at KHS. So long KHS... I can't say I'll miss you because I know not what the future holds for me. But I can say... I'll always remember... 12 Year Seniors These students have attended the Kingfisher school system for the past twelve years. Elected representatives accept the duties and responsibilities of governing the student body by listening to the wants and needs expressed by the students and then making decisions that will benefit all. By working with other students, faculty, and administrators we get the privilege of listening to many viewpoints and working co-operatively with people who have different back- grounds and cultures from us. Our student council is an active one. This past year the Bicentennial Plaza was completed and furnished with vending machines and benches. They have also completed the Tri-Centennial Cap- sule to be opened in the year 2076. They sponsored the career night, noon-time films, and co- ordinated all homecoming activities. Burl Bartlett Superintendent This year will have to be recorded as one of the best in the history of Kingfisher High School. It has been a year when the quality of our indivi- ual students as well as our total student body has been evident in many ways. The spirit and tra- dition of K.H.S. has grown this year through the efforts of every one of you. The cooperation of the students, faculty, and various student or- ganizations has made this year a memorable one in every respect. Once again, the measure of the quality of an institution or a person is in what they do, not in what they say. I congratulate you. Your 1976-77 year has truly been outstanding.
