We as Seniors began our final year by electing our class officers as follows: President - Jimmy Don Smith, Vice-President - Gene Yost, Secretary-Treasurer - Pa- tricia Walter, and Reporter - Myron Jones. Our Student Council Representatives were Mike Edge, Jimmy Don Smith, Steve Sheriff, Steve Baker, Ross Payne, and Joyce Bredel. The white carnation was chosen as the class flower. Class colors were blue and white. Vicky Hogan, Senior Class Queen, rode on Snoopy's Victory, the first place float in the Homecoming Parade. Kim Finley and Julie Blehm were our class favorites. A food sale and a dance were used as our money making projects. We finished the contest with a close second be- hind the Juniors. The Senior girls joined the Eighth and Ninth grade girls in an easy win over the Sophomores and Juniors in the third annual Powderpuff Football game. Senior Royalty included Karen Myers - Football Queen, Diane Brakhage - Band Queen, Kitty Jordan - Riot Squad Queen, Linda Leech - FBLA Queen, Vicky Hogan - Class Queen, Jimalou Perdue - FFA Queen, Donnita McMullin - Basketball Queen, and Kim Finley and Julie Blehm - Most Popular Boy and Most Popular Girl. We would like to express our appreciation to our Senior Class Sponsors. Mr. White, Mrs. Larrabee, Miss Cooksey, and Mr. Henderson spent a lot of time and effort for the benefit of the class. Tip Toe To Victory, ridden by Bud Loftis, was the first place float in the basketball homecoming parade. As we went through our graduation activities, we looked back with mixed emotions. It has been a year filled with success and setbacks. We will treasure our years at K.H.S. 15
