Highlighting the Junior year was the dividend of a wonderful Junior-Senior From, the result of a successful season in the concession stand. The first semester was filled with plans for the Homecoming Parade, at which we presented our class queen, Carol Senn, on the Junior float, using the theme, “Chicken Little.” Our class, not to be out-done by anyone, worked together for three days supporting Judy and Eddie Lip- poldt, our representatives in the Annual King and Queen contest. Our work paid off, as both Judy and Eddie won the Annual titles. All of this has been accomplished under the leader- ship of our class sponsors, Mrs. Teders and Mr. Bailey. During the year, we have achieved many goals as we have worked and played together. We will carry these memories with us as we look forward to even greater successes in our Senior year. Ready to step into the spotlight of leader- ship willed to them by the departing Class of'61, Dick Lemon, treasurer; Calvin Ellyson, sergeant at arms; Jack Steele, vice president; Kay Hawkins. student council representative; Gary Cupp, president; Arnold Droke, secretary (not present).
