uperintendent The Annual Staff is to be commended for its united effort in giving this written and pictorial record of the various activities of our school life. These pages will bring many a happy memory in the years to come. In our remembrance of things past, let us not forget the things that lie ahead. Ours is a young, vigorous, democratic country which is always looking forward to progress. When we do nothing but look backward to past pleasures and triumphs, we stand still . . . we do not progress. It is good to pause and look back from time to time, but do not forget to also look forward to the new experiences, new pleasures, new triumphs and fulfillments that the future holds in store for you. RUSSELL PURSELL Principal The Year Book staff is to be commended for a job well done as evidenced by this annual. Realiz- ing the work and time that has gone into such a project, we let them know that the time and energy spent has been appreciated. This is a record of people and experiences that will bring to mind in the future those things of the past that meant so much to those involved. The things that seemed so very important at the time will be dimmed by new experiences, which in an adult world will have new meanings and im- portance. Often youth misplaces its sense of values and through development and growth the school hopes to develop in them a true sense of values and high ideals so that the citizens of our country will always be of the highest type. Take this book, cherish itg for it is a record of people and events that in time to come will be Moments to Remember. i LOREN JOHNSON
