' November 23,---Oh, N01 lt can't be that we have exams again, Where does the time go? The Round Robin games were held here tonight, marking the opening of the basketball season, ' November 24---The end of exams until next time, We had another day with Mr, Dann which helped to quiet our nerves, November Z5---Thanksgiving Vacation, We adore holidays, Week of November Z9 November Z9---What is all the fuss about? It must be that the Senior pictures have come, November 30---Today, we held a rally and tryouts for cheerleaders, December l---The Student Council met today to choose the cheerleaders and the classes for concession for the home games, The Senior class chose three girls from whom our D, A, R, Candidate will be selected by teachers, At Farmington, we played our first basketball games, The girls won but the boys lost, Well, cheer up Boys, you may win the next game, December Z---We got our rank cards today, The Seniors are thinking of going through high school again, Maybe it is a good idea, December 3---jay played here tonight, The girls lost but the boys won, See, Boys, I told you that you might win this game, The Seniors sold refreshments, At 9:25 A, M,, Mr, Dann met with the juniors and the Seniors for a class of Appreciation of Music, ' December 4---Saturdayf Some of the members of the Student Council went to Augusta to the Student Legislature, Those who went held an office, Maybe one of them will hold the same office in the future, Who knows '? Week of December 6 December 6---Wanda Bradbury was the choice for the D, A, R, Repre- sentative, December 7---Both boys and girls won the games with North Anson, Let us strive to keep up the good work, The Sophomores sold hotdogs, December 8---Mr, Dann met with the Music Chorus in Mrs, Huse's room, The fifth and sixth grade came up into the junior and Senior room for this period, December 10---We played basketball at jay tonight, lt's too bad because jay won both games, Week of December 13 December 16---We played Rangeley here tonight, We were victorious in both games, The juniors sold refreshments, December 17---Today we had singing under the leadership of Mr, Dann, All grades from the Sub Primary through the high school participated, After the singing we held our Christrnas tree, A two weeks holiday: I though it would never get here, Week of lanuary 3 january 3---Well, here we are backto school again, The Juniors seem happy for some reason, It must be that their class rings have arrived, january 4---I was right, They got their rings this recess, Don't they look nice ? We played Strong here tonight and took both games without too much trouble, The Sophomores sold refreshments, january 7---Stratton played here tonight and we were winners again in both games, The juniors sold refreshments, Week of lanuary 10 january 11---We had our first games with Phillips, We captured both games, 20

October 15---The Seniors shocked the whole school when they arrived to have their pictures taken by The Warren Kay Vantine Studio, lnc,, Boston, A variety social was held tonight for the benefit of the Student Council, Week of October 18 October 18---We got our rank cards today and, by the looks on the faces, I guess everybody passed, October 19---The Senior proofs got back today, They were so good that most of us were pleased, Special Announcement: Faye Hewey has become en- gaged, Who is the lucky fellow? October Z1---Mrs, Chadbourne sent for the books for the play Swept Clean Off Her Feet , lt will be presented on the evening of the Carnival, October ZZ---Another Variety Social was held for the benefit of the Student Council, The County Cross Country meet was held in Wilton today, We won the cup, a fact which makes us county champsff Week of October Z5 October Z6---Although, it is only Tuesday, this is the night of the Halloween Ball, Music by Brackley's orchestra, I hope we make a profit, An agent from the Vantine Studio took the Senior orders today, October Z7---Teachers' Convention, at lastf Happy holidays, Week of November l November 1---We had tryouts for the Carnival Play, Hurrah for the Freshman boys: They are interested in dramatics, November 2---Mr, Green was here to speak to the Senior Class President about our trip to Washington, Where is Mr, Clunie ? Mrs, Knapp is substituting today, Henry Carey, from Marlborough, Massachusetts has transferred to Kingfield High, Photographers from Alston Studios took individual pictures of the whole school and some of the teachers, Everything happens to us, November 4---The State Cross Country Meet was held today, Although Kingfield placed seventh, Russell Riggs brought home a medal for coming in second, The Student Council chose committees for the carnival, November 5---The Seniors held a dance tonight, with Alfred Pillman furnishing the music, Week of November 8 November 8---Today the teachers met with Mr, Dann to form a plan to add music to our curriculum, November 9---Only one session today, We had a night session to pay for the afternoon off, Quite a large crowd attended in the evening, November 10---Today the high school met with Mr, Dann for music during Activity Period, November ll---Another day in which to rest, November 12---The Seniors held another social this evening in order to earn money for their class trip, Week of November l5 November 17---The Alston pictures came back today, We were very happy because they came out well, Another joyful day of singing with Mr, Dann, We certainly appreciate what he is doing for the school, November 18---Dr, Dunlap came today to check up on our health, November 19---Only one se sion today, Carnival in the afternoon and the Play and Beano in the evening, We made a profit of SZ59,6Z, Week of November ZZ November Z2---Another day with Dr, Dunlap, He came to test our eyes,

january 13---We chose Margaret Niemi as our candidate for Queen at the Farmington Winter Carnival, Although she was not selected Queen, all of us were proud of her, She made a very pretty attendant, january 14---Another victory for the boys, This time it was over Mexico, The girls lost by a rather close score, Week of Ianuary 17 january 17---We started choosing the staff of The Abram Breeze, There's two we don't have to choose, john Winter automatically becomes Editor-in-Chief Richard McLaughlin becomes Business Manager, January 18---Today we finished choosing the staff, We played New Sharon on our floor tonight, The boys won 98 to 55, The girls, also, were victorious, The Freshmen sold refreshments, january 19---Oh, this terrible weather: Because of it the Vantine Studio couldn't get here to take the group pictures, Another day of exams, January 20---Exams finished once more, january 21---Our second games with Strong, Again we were the victors in both games, Week of Ianuary Z4 january Z 5 - - - our game tonight, Oh, well: january Z 6 - - What's the matter ? We just barely made it to Stratton for We won both games anyway, -Rank cards out, I hope we have improved, The staff of The Abram Breeze agreed to have the books published in Missouri, Mister Green was here today to talk to the Seniors about the class trip, January Z8---Our second game with Phillips and again we were victorious in both games, This is our last home game, The Seniors made quite a profit selling hotdogs and drinks, Arlene Niles, secretary of the Seniors, sent for the play books The Funny Brats , Week of lanuary 31 February Z---Dean Vose, Naida Loucks, David Winter and Eugene Wing went to Farmington after Advertisements for the year book, February 3---Both teams went to New Sharon tonight, Both won, February 4---The juniors and Seniors had another joyful hour with Mr, Dann for Appreciation of Music, Week of February 7 February 7---We held a Student Council meeting to discuss tickets and games for the Franklin County Tournament, February 8---We went to North Anson tonight, The girls lostg boys won by one point, February 9---After school the Seniors had the tryouts for the play, February 10---We played Rangeley up there, Both games were close, The girls won and the boys lost 37 to 38, February ll---We had a rally this afternoon to show the boys that we will be pulling for them in the tournament at Farmington, tomorrow, February 12---The tournament at last, Kingfield lost to Rangeley, but only by three points, Week of February 14 February 15---A photographer from the Warren Kay Vantine Studio took the group pictures for the yearbook, , February 18---Only one session today, The tournament at Farmington in the afternoon and evening, A week's vacation, February 19---The boys beat both Stratton and Strong, thereby winning the consolation cup, We think they have done well, Although it has not yet been presented they have, also, won the cup for being champions of the Franklin County Small Schools League, That goes double because our girls are girl champions in the same league.
