After completion of its rebuilding program and under new head coach Bob Murray, King William has found winning ways again. The Knights got off to a poor start, winning its first con- test and then losing four straight. Kingwilliarn then ended the '64 half of the season with a 77 to 57 win over a strong Alumni team. The Knights started the '65 season offwith afour game win streak and in the course pulled into atie for third place in District E standing. During this win streak KingWilliam lambasted district power and rival West Point with a record breaking 91-75 score. It was in this gamethat senior Willie Edwards broke the individual scoring record for a KingWilliam player with an output of 36 points. Throughout the season Edwards has constantly been in the district and state scoring races. He is the captain of a late starting but balanced score attack of our King William Knights.

The junior varsity program played a most important role in the school's activities during the 1964-65 season. The junior knights provided thrilling entertainment while acquiring valuable experience in their preparationfor fu- ture Varsity participation.
