Biology Clubs join to clean up environment This year, the Biology Clubs at King and Miller High Schools joined together in a group effort to clean up the environment. Seining trips were taken to the beach frequently, in order to add to the fish and small life already col- lected here in the school aquariums. The members did not limit their study to the sea, however. They also studied taxidermy in hopes of creat- ing display of South Texas wildlife for future Biology enthusiasts. Chess Club reorganizes, doubles in size P i nl V Boasting a record total of 23 active members, compared to last year, the Chess Club was completely reorgani- zed this year. An informal tournament was plan- ned within the club in order to deter- mine the current Chess Club King. A tournament was planned for Febru- ary, and members planned to attend other area tournaments as well. The results of those tournaments were announced toward the end of the 1.
