NJROTC projects instill pride in The primary goal of the Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps is to provide a permanent system of instruction in Naval-oriented subjects in secondary school. The program is the start of special training in self -development emphasizing high standards of personal conduct, leadership, and team work. Cadets take part in community projects designed to instill pride in themselves, their community, and their country. This year, the NJROTC planned to take trips to the NASA Manned Spacecraft Center, to Galveston to tour a submanne, and University of Corpus Christi to spend a day with the Geological Research and Survey Department. 54 ' organizatio
