With a junior high school feeder concert heading off the year ' s activi- ties, the Choir soon found its sched- ule to be a busy one. The turkey din- ner, an annual fund-raising event, was held near Thanksgiving, and a con- cert was held at Christmas to top off the holiday season. A contemporary muJic festival at Del Mar and the UIL Solo and Ensemble contest and Choir contest highlighted the end of the first semester. The choir then began pre- paring for the Buccaneer Days Music Festival and the spring concert and tour. 52 organizations
