27 Organizations name Homecoming nominees King Student Council upheld tradi- tion by presenting the Fourth Annual Homecoming amid a great deal of pomp and ceremony. Mums for the game were sold by the cheerleaders the week before the game. Alumni came in large numbers to see the Mustangs defeat the Miller Bucs 17-0. During half-time ceremo- nies 27 Homecoming Queen Nomi- nees were presented with their escorts. Patti Bazan was crowned 1972 Homecoming Queen and Debbie Bradshaw was selected from among four nominees as Football Sweetheart by the team. After the game, there was a dance at the school cafetorium. It was decorated to the theme of Cartcxjn Hall of Fame and music was by Stormy Weather.
