Swim Team takes third in Invitational The fourth swimming season for King began Nov. 17,- 18, 1972, with King placing third in total team points in the C.C.I. S.D. Invitational Swimming and Diving Meet behind Brownsville and San Antonio John Jay. Since November, they have com- peted at San Antonio Alamo Heights, San Angelo Central, North East I. S.D. San Antonio, McAllen, Dallas, and Midland Lee. A few swimmers have state wide rankings. The qualifi- ers from King were Carron Hughes, 50-yard free style; Robin Elkin, 50- yard free style and 100-yard free style; Bobby Plough, 100-yard butterfly stroke, 50-yard free style, and 100-yard back stroke; and Mark Brown in the one meter diving.
