Bustling days of yearbook activity began long before ttie end of tfie 71 sctiool year wfien Miss Chris Davis named Debbie Newby as Editor-in- Cfiief and Susan Diemert as Managing Editor. Four experienced staffers were appointed for various section editors. After ttie final deadline for last year ' s book, tfiis year ' s staff began to organ- ize and plan. Tfiis activity continued ttirougfiout the sumnner as six staffers met their new sponsor, Mrs. Terry Orr, and with her traveled to Trinity Univer- sity for a week of yearbook work- shops. With the opening of school, the entire staff got together and the real work started. New staffers repre- senting each grade were given brief instructions and immediately began work on The Coronat. Nonetheless, deadlines came dangerously close to being missed, but Saturday morning work periods and after school work al- leviated this problem. Finally the last deadline was met and the whole cycle started all over again. a Rocky Delano and Merce Fernandez look through old yearbooks lor new ideas b Melissa Roberts, class editor, ponders a problem with the alphabet c Cyndie Buckley.
