Pam Hewlett, Jane Andrus crowned in Homecoming activities Princess Judy White At King ' s third annual Homecoming game October 15, 1971, the Mustangs defeated the Ray Texans. Pam Hewlett, sponsored by Mu Alpha Theta, was crowned Homecoming Queen and was escorted by Robert Shrophshire. Jane Andrus was cho- sen by the football team as their 71 Sweetheart She was escorted by IVIike Tanner, A Homecoming Dance was held after the game and climaxed the festivities. Many girls were selected by their clubs but only four were chosen to the Homecoming Court. Judy White was chosen Princess. Ladies-ln-Waiting were: Ann Speckels, Susan Bryan and Terry Hopkins Other nominees were Terry Hos- kins, OEA, Judy White, Choir; Cyndee Ray, Sigmund; Patty Haeber, Drill Team; Genny Howell, Pan American; Libba Linn, French Club; Debbie Mayo, VICA; Holli Bryce, Stash : Diana Bucey, Latin Club; Carolyn Bond, N.H.S.; Grade Garza, Biology Club; Pam Hoskins, DECA; Wanda Ciochetto, FHA; Beth Mattox, CVAE; Carolyn Snyder, NFL.
