Student Council The Student Council of King High is the back- bone of our student government. Each year they sponsor Orientation Day for the new sophomores and they work with the President’s Rountable. They meet weekly to discuss any important matters which may arise. It also gives the students happy and lasting memories of the school year. The Scepter was awarded the Miami Herald Award last year. This is an honor high schools throughout Florida strive for.
