L f Will and Tesfomenf We, the Senior Class of 1961, of King High School, being of sound body and mind realizing the pitfalls of this earthly existence, and about to pass out of this, our life at King High School, do hereby make this our Last Will and Testament. To Mr. Neal and the faculty we leave our sincere appreciation for the knowledge and prestige you have helpedus to acquire through our high school years. To the coming seniors we leave all receipts for our expenses so that you will know to start saving now. To the coming juniors we leave all the new experiences we shared as we entered our third year in high school. To the coming sophomores we leave our joy at climbing one step more toward graduation. . To the coming freshmen we le ave our strong will and what fight we have left in us because you will need it to battle your way up the ladder. The following individuals bequeath their talents and possessions to the members of the junior class: LINDA ADKINS and ANNE BUTNER leave their ability to confuse the teachers to Brenda and Glenda Kirby. BARRY ATWOOD leaves his ability to have the girls around to Junior Duggins. I-IARRY BENNETT leaves his ever-trying efforts to grow to Jimmy Brandon, who he hopes willget further trying than he did. SYLVIA BARBER leaves her position as President of the Student Council to Vicki Boles saying, mix business with ple asure . SHIRLEY BENNETT leaves her basketball suit to Bonnie Watts hoping she won't let King down. TERRY BROWDER leaves Mrs. Moser a quiet and peaceful library. BETTY BROWN leaves behind all the absentee lists with her name on them to anyone who will come to school more regular than she . I MORRIS SMITH and WAYNE BURROW leave their good times in and out of class to Lloyd Mabe and Paul Lytle. NAOMI CARROLL leaves her cashier title to Thurman Dodson hoping he won't walk off with the strong box. NANCY COLLINS is going to take her height with her because she enjoys seeing all that goes on in this world. JAMES CALLOWAY leaves his ability to ask far-fetched questions in Mr. Allen's class to Bobby Mabe. DOUG EAST leaves his shyness around the girls to Gerald Boyles. JACQUE EDWARDS and KAY VENABLE leave to Pa tsy Cranford and Pauline Cummings their poor cramped hands from taking shorthand speeds. LARRY GORDON leaves his casualty list to Don Lynch hoping he will not increase it. KATHY GARNER leaves her ability to make an A+ report card to Brenda Walsh, hoping she won't be disappointed. LINDA GIBSON leaves her reading techniques to Brenda Kiser hoping that she can improve them. NORMA GRAVELY leaves her nose for news to Doris Newsome who she hopes can keep up with King as well as she has. DALE HARTGROVE leaves his great love for basketball to Frosty Denny, hoping he will keep the ball bouncing. ELIZABETH HUTCHINS leaves her book HOW TO TRAP A MAN, to anyone willing and ready. JOHNNY LANKFORD wills his ability to uphold the Chevrolet to Charles Barr. MIKE LAWSON, being of sound mind and body, did away with everything he had before he left. ' JERRY LAWSON just leaves. PAT SLAWTER leaves her ability to laugh, joke, and talk at any time to Faye D. Brown. LARRY SLATE wills his ability to come to school without his homework to Wayne Long. DONALD SNIDER and BILLY STONE will their earnest desire to graduate to Roy Ashby and Ray Cranford. BARBARA TUTTLE leaves all her new hair styles to Kay Lawson.
