MILLER. 3rd row: SH3 GREG- s The Ship's Servicemen, under the excellent leadership of Sl-I3 DAYTON, are involved in many functions which con- tributed to a high state of mo- rale aboard KING. They ran the ship's store, which helped to support the recreation fund, operated the crew's barber- shop, and, in spite of several machinery failures, provided daily laundry service to the crew. Extra services provided by the Ship's Servicemen in- cluded special orders through the ship's store. This allowed personnel to buy at substantial savings, items not carried in the ship's store.
