1 on account of rain. The freshmen-junior team easily defeated the sophomore-senior team in the inter-class meet by a score of 115 to 85. The seniors, as expected, made the most points, 60, and the freshmen made 57. Soberanes was elected captain of the baseball team, and Gil, Campbell, Hables, and Parsons were also on the squad. The freshmen have kept' up their standard of grades very high and have been able to compete in athletics during the year. The freshmen thank Miss Mann, their adviser, the other faculty members, and the upper classmen for the aid and encouragement re- ceived during the first year at K. C. U. H. S.
