As we entered school last fall, we were reading and hearing a lot about the great Youth Revolution which is sweeping the nation. KHS, grown larger with the addition of Davenport High School, met us with a form of counter-revolution , including a closed noon-hour and a seven period day. The students then staged their own personal revolutions to add their parts to the world revolution . A popular song of the summer, which related to this, told how Nothing Can Change the Shape of Things to Come. With the year now over, though, we can look back and say that nothing can change .....
