The Band Mothers sold lunch and W111 use the proceeds to purchase much needed lnstruments for the band And now came the tune for the Freshmen to show thelr appreclatlon for the good thmgs whlch had been bestowed upon them at the Freshman party Of course belng Freshmen there were not permltted to use violence but they d1d arrange a very enjoyable party The freshmen boys entered a beauty contest and Marlm Olson was the gorgeous and charming wmner And then Bubble Gum Sh11'1By Foucault was the proud reC1p1ent of a pr1ze awarded because she blew the largest bubble The JUIIIOTS presented thelr play The Adorable Irnp on December 10 and ll to a full house on both nights Members of the cast were Beverly Desmond who undertook a flttmg role as the young lmp Maxme Myhre juhan Perhus Marlene Morgan and Martha johnson And then glor1us day came the nmeteenth of December and the last day of school before Chrmstrnas holldays A very understandmg faculty knowmg that we were not m the mood for studymg had allowed us to have a party t whlch some very humorous g1fts were d1str1buted and Chrlstmas movles were run After lunch the ent1re Hlgh School departed for thelr homes The followmg events w1ll take place thas sprmg after th1s book IS sent to press Senlor Play Apr11 14 and 15 Skzp Day May 14 and 15 Banquet May Z1 Baccalaureate Servmces May Z3 Graduatlon May Z7 Twedt, Osborne Twedt, Allan Turmo, Sidney I-Iassen, Donald Nellermoe, Maylo I ' D l a
