DONALD HOLLOWAY Slow but sure zhatls my motto. 560634664445 The Senior Class got into full swing the first of-the year under the leadership of President Kaye Wall, Vice President Janet Willoughby, Secretary-Treasurer Erma Alkire, and Forum Members Patty Rees and Phil Norton. We soon launched into a number of activitiesg October 30 was the Harvest Ball, our candidate was Hazel Mason. Kaye Wall and Janet Willoughby were the candidates for the Carnival, November 21. For the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance, November 14, Leon Jepson won first prize for the best-dressed boy present. December 15 was the Senior Reception, Colleen Campbell gave a reading, Ernie Egan played a piano solo, Derald Glenn, Phil Norton, Kenneth Urie, Curtis Merchant, Kaye Wall, Layne Shockley, Shirley Alvey, Gaye Bowden, Janet Willoughby, Patty Recs, Hazel Mason, and Ruth Hoos sang a choral selection with Carolyn Mason as accompanist. The Senior Ball was given December 23 with Silver Bells as the theme. Leon Jepson, Kenneth Urie, Ernie Egan, Curtis Merchant, and Jack Teater were characters in the all-school play Come Down Out Of The Hills, Billyf, Ed Thompson was nominated candidate for King of the Sweetheart Ball, February 5. Our class sneak was held in April. In May we marched down the long aisle lighted with candles held by the formally attired Juniors to end one phrase of our life-our school days.
