9 D1 CAT! 0 E v DEDICATION We hereby dedicate this first edition of the Kimet to Mrs. J. R. Gerritts, the former Miss Winifred Lynch of our High School Staff. Through her efforts, eleven years of faithful and unceasing service, we have seen many developments and achievements in the student body, and many laurels given Kimberly in the Dramatic Department, of which she was the head. Mrs. Gerritts' home was in New Richmond, Wisconsin. There she attended the parochial school. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree at River Falls' Teachers College where she majored in English and minored in History. During various summers, she attended summer school at the University of Minnesota. The students of the Kimberly High School regret the loss of such a capable person, but wish her much success in her new role in life.

SXBYERNNTENDEN7 To Mr. John R. Gerritts, our supervising principal, we owe much for the high standard of education which prevails in our high school today. During the six years he has been with us, our school has become one of the most respected institutions. We are fortunate to have such a fine leader as director of our school and through his ambitious efforts, an addition was annexed to the former building. Mr. Gerritts attended grade and high school at Little Chute Wisconsin. At Lawrence College, Appleton, Wisconsin he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. With a scholarship he attended the University of Illinois in 1920-21, and in the summer of '68 he went to George Washington University, Washington D. C. His teaching experiences have included nine years at Union Free High School, Oxford, Wisconsin, four years as chemistry instructor at Marinette High School and six years as supervising principal at our school. We appreciate his efforts in making the function of our school that which com ands notable mention. To him-our thanks. 4 3
