The varsity hockey team was victorious in two out of three games, and the junior varsity won its game also. Certain girls par' ticipated in the Northern New jersey Hockey Meet in which girls from eight private schools competed for positions on the first and reserve teams. Gail Tomec made the reserve team. Our winter sports included bowling, basketball, and swimming, a part of which was water ballet. During the winter season, the A.A. held a play day at school. Repref sentatives from Kent Place, Beard, and Kimberley participated in swimming, bowling, and basketball. The girls were divided into three teams, yellow, blue, and red. The blue team was the winner! Our Spring sports program included tennis, softball, and lifesaving. The Athletic Association has made many new improvements this year. such as revising the constitution in order to meet our new expanded athletic program. The A.A, also voted on a new gym uniform, which will eventually be worn by every Kimberley student. and we also have new cheerleaders' uniforms. The board has also started a new point system which corresponds with the New jersey state point system. The new ey stem xxcnt into effect this year.
