Students had the chance to show their real talent, ranging from singing and dancing to musical numbers, rapping and comedy acts. The audience cheered and really became a part of the show. o v ion Assemblies prove helpful Special assemblies were held throughout the year to help motivate students to do their best in their endeavors. The speaker that generated the most excitement was lermaine lackson, the famous recording star and former member ofthe jackson Five. jackson encouraged students to Work hard and to set goals. Clarice Tinsley, anchorperson on Channel 4, also visited. She spoke during February, National Black l-listory Month.
