lamb ll H0 was WS K, -r , I' I A . -g, Duncan Mclver, Bob Byrd, and Bert Smith were selected as semi- finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Pro- gram, giving them a chance to compete for valuable scholarship a- wards. Out mud hy Students Bert Smith was also elected to serve as President of the National Honor Society. I2 Sammye Majors was one of many who were recognized for outstanding achievement in dramatics.
