Plunge by GiUett into Spartan line cinches another Kimball first down. KNIGHT UNDERDOGS DUMP CITY CHAMPS, 21-0 In the last game of the 1962 season, Kimball ran the Third-in-State Samuell Spartans off the field, perhaps showing who should be in the state play-offs. The Knights furnished a knock-out punch from the start. The first touchdown came six plays after Cas Irvin recovered a Spartan fumble on the Samuell 23. Halting three drives by Samuell, the Knights began a time-consuming march which took 19 plays to reach the goal line. In the second half, Kimball again halted the foe preceding another long drive. A short pass to Wilson climaxed the effort. Then Ramsey caught Wilson ' s throw and zoomed around left end and across the goal line. Defensive ends Anderson and Irvin sparked the outstanding work of the entire defensive squad. Aggressive Knight line recovers its own fumble. DAVID KENNEDY Letterman 1 205
