The reserve team had alot of high scoring with exceptional scores from Karen DeFreece and Brenda Jensen. Other high scores came from LeeAnn Bradford and Shaunna Kelsey. Inspite of illness, which kept her from participating in all games, Lisa Buddecke led the team in field goal percentage and free throw shooting. Dale Hendrickson’s successful coaching of the junior varsity squad made girls' basketball at KCHS appear brighter for next season. Freshmen Brag a 4-0 Record Girls’ freshman basketball ended their season well with a score of 4-0. Even though the freshman team didn't get a chance to play many games, they did a great job in the games they played. Team spirit and readiness for each game was nothing new for the underclassmen as they were used to playing as a team in junior high. The unbeaten freshman team should help make another strong team next year for KCHS girl's basketball.
