BAND MUSIC ACTIVITIES This year the girls' glee club has a membership of 55. and the mixed chorus, which has just been organized this year, 75. They just made their first appearance at the concert given for the benefit of the March of Dimes along with the glee club and the high school band. The first appearance of the girls' glee was as background music for the Christmas program. The band has played for all the home football games and the pep band for all the home basketball games. Denver University had a band day in October in which the Kimball High Band participated in the marching and playing events. The band received third place in the marching events. The crticism sheets were very complimentary. Other activities of the band were the County Fair and Farmers' Day. The glee club, mixed chorus, and band will participate in the spring concert and music festival held at Sidney. Late spring activities are under the direction of Mr. Pancheau, with Sonia Torgeson accompanying the glee club and chorus. —19—
