It quickly develops however, that one of his daughters has been very much impressed by her father's exhortations. After any number of riotous mishaps, the play ends on a happily tender note with the whole family going out to see one of the other sisters in the high school play, Ginger escorted by her reconciled boy friend. The traditional senior play was given by an excellent cast January 21 and 22. T ' The senior play is given each year in order for the seniors to make money for the senior trip. The play, a light com- edy entitled Time Out for Ginger, was about a young girl who wanted to play football. Kr oo .. Q u-1- . A special thanks goes to the director of the play, Miss Inez Franz. ln appreciation of her efforts, Miss Franz was presented with a string of pearls. STUDENTS LOOK FORWARD TO ASSEMBLIES Each Friday there is an assembly at K. H. S. These assemblies are given by the various classes, clubs, or by a member of the Southem School Assemblies. During football season this time is devoted to pep rallies. The tumbling team often performs for the student body during this time. The tumbling team from Temple also enter- tained once. An act sent by the Southern School Assemblies was featuring bicycle acts. Here Cecil Fickel tries to ride one of the tiny bikes as demonstrated by the per- formers. The Senior members of the band are presented with jackets if they have been in the band for two years. Mr. Mc- Mullen gives Mary Louise Carter her jacket. At Christmas a special assembly was given by the Choir and Band, featuring Christmas Music. f Q , 32 X x 7 I . I S -CL, M. X .ifzlfffz Z- 'J I ff? X!
