'4 Wleuage It is with a great deal of pleasure that I use this method of extending greetings to each member of the student body and faculty of the Killeen High School. I feel that we have had a pleasant associa- tion during 1953-1954. You have been gracious in your acceptance of me as your superintendent. I am grateful to you for this consideration. In the years to come, you will look through this school annual many times. Certain pictures will bring delightful memoriesg others may not impress you at allg but as the years pass and your classmates go their separate ways, this book will become more significant to you. It will become an important tie binding the 1953-54 school year with all the future years. The annual staff and their sponsor are to be con- gratulated for this fine annual. We all appreciate your many hours of diligent effort in giving us a pic- ture record of this school year. Please accept our thanks. 77' '4 This year has probably been the most significant in the history of Killeen High School. We have completed the unification of our schools, made great progress in the improvement of curriculum and student activities, as demonstrated by this fine book.
