No other than Ruth Gessmann She looked swell Had a briefcase full of drawings and was on her way to Chicago to show them at an Art Exhibition N 'Is she still married,nI quickly ask 'I don't know, answered Ida 'l didn't ask her N I looked at Don and could tell by the look on his face that he wanted to talk So I sa1d,nWhata you know?H 'Do vou remember William Leckrone,Nhe asked NI sure do What about him? It couldn't bel I looked up Yes, it could bel It was Junior Tldball, br1efcase,bow tie, and all nCome on, John, hurry up You're blocking traffic U Before I could answer, the regular attendant stepped up and, grinning, sa1d,HI'll park your car, sir ' I grabbed my script and crawled out Just then I heard some glggles and right there they stood, among all those hurrying people, Betty Nullet,Beverly Jackson Janet Cole,and Edna Young A big clock on one of the buildings nearby boomed out the alf hour 9 30,rehearsal time Suddenly, I had a bright idea NCome on, gang You think you're so smart I'll give you something to giggle abou 'n due at rehearsal right now and I usually have an audience I'm going to put my script as de and interview you folks instead Come on, let's hurry In a few minutes, my rehearsal was underway Familiar theme song and the announcer's commercial about Had a Call Cthey had to call it something! were over And now, Jolly Johnny and his five guests nWhat's your name,where are you from,and what's your occupa tion,sir?n My name is Harold Tidball my home is in Detroit,and I'm a salesman for General Motors 'Are you a good salesman?n Well, at least, General Motors thinks mGood enough 'And now, for this beautiful blonde 'What's your name and where a from N 'I'm Mrs Beverly Moore and my homes are in Dallas, Texas,and Miami Beach, I an you Florida nOh, yes!
