Clubs and Organizations Search for New Members c. Club Day, the annual event during which clubs and organizations acquire new members, was held Sept. 14, with each group setting up registration booths by the Library and Liberal Arts Building. This event, in which 21 clubs and organizations participated, gave the students an opportunity to become involved with service, social, professional and religious clubs, student government and the honor society. Club Day originated several years ago as a result of students’ requests to the Student Affairs Congress. A day is set aside during the first weeks of the school year. Organizations setting up booths this year included Phi Theta Kappa, Circle K, the Saddle Tramps, Beta Chi Omega, Chi Sigma Delta, Phi Theta Omega, Zeta Phi Omega, the Baptist Student Union, Chi Alpha House and The Newman Club. Also, the Library Club, the Engineer's Society, the Young Republicans, the Para-Med Club, the Rodeo Club, the Agriculture Club, Foot-light Players, Student Education Association, and the Kilgore Association of Management Executives. 27
