celebrate thls event too lo stalt the festxvltles the class asked Orvllle Courrxer to bless thxs momentous occasion smce he had gone into the mlmstry Orvllle IS wldely known throughout the Unlted States for hls mspxrlng messages Next on the program was a song by Dolly Babcock who has been wlth the Metropohtan Opera for several years Lucklly Harold Levme had been able to break hns orchestra engagement at the Cocoanut Grove and was also able to attend Together wnth hms orchestra and vocallst Gllma Wlgern, they supplied the party wnth some of thelr dellghtful musxc The program was lnterrupted by a loud volce from the back of the room lt was Jlmmy Parrlott Aft er sellmg newspapers on the corner of Hollywood and Vme for a number of years he found xt hard to speak m moderate tones Purely out of hablt LaVonne Lacher who had been a llbrarlan for 20 years, trned to qulet hmm but to no avall He had burst out m surprise after hearmg that Roger Oldfather had also been m Hollywood for
