Officer Rosenbloom tries to solve the Bauer Jewel robbery while his girlfriend, Kitty Doe, helps to add much humor to his work. Penny and Vivian Whitman, together with their Aunt Amy, move into a small Greenwich Village apartment and find a body in the closet. Everyone is anxious to solve the murder, including Judge Haley, who has come to marry Officer Roeenbloom and Kitty, and Flavia Winterspeer, who is a surrealist poet and also has an apartment there. Chris Wynn and Paul Van Dorn also try to solve the mysterious murder. Mrs. Merlino, owner of the boarding house, and Olga, the Swedish maid, furnish both humor and mystery. 36 LIDENT EEERETHRIEE Back row: E. ATHOld, G. Kelby, F. Gessert, D. Burmahln, A. Henke.
