Each high school class elects a boy and a girl to serve on the Council, and the class presidents are also members. This year Dolores Kautzer was elected by the Council to serve as the president. The purpose of the Student Council is to give the students a more active part in the school government. Weekly bond and stamp sales were also under the supervision of the Council. 4 The members are as follows: Seniors: Dolores Kautzer Cecelia Mayr James Huberty Juniors: Janet Klaeser Allan Onnick Kenneth Dedering Sophomores: Freshmen: Lois Hein LaVerne Christel Roman Backhaus Marylin Brahl Allan Johnson Kieth Kuester S -s 3,5 iss I Z' if j.: Q 'lv V117 I , r I V!!! We hope you are enjoying it as much as we have enjoyed working on it. Though we were handicapped both by our ignorance of such an undertaking and by many war shortages, we have done our best to make this annual one we can all be proud of. Mix thoroughly on theme paper. Keep Cyoureelfl at an even temperature, and add punctuation until clear. If too light add a tablespoon of Standard Dictionary jawbreakers and one teaspoonful each of quotations from Browning and Carlyle. Serve with a few drops of expression to make it sound as if you really meant something and hand it in. It is dangerous to drive in a fog, especially if it's mental.
