After we arrived in Bahrain once hostilities had ceased manv of the crew were selected at random lo isit Cruise Liner, CUNARD PRINCESS tor a dav of relaxation. The CUNARD PRINCESS was being used to entertain the troops when thev were on R t - R from the front lines. Soldiers and Sailors both enjo ed visiting the ship and taking advantage of the time onboard to do a bit of swimming, sun- bathing and just to have a few drinks with shipmates and unwind from the tensions of the war in the gull.
