As usual, the boys sports packed them in to their sporting events, but this year's girls sports also had many loyal supporters. Girls teams drew very enthusiastic fans onto the track, gym, and courts. For some students, the way to show spirit is through participation in class. Gym classes took on a new light as onlooking members of the opposite sex have extra incentive to perform better in the new co-ed classes. Of course Cheerleaders play a large part in promoting spirit in the school. Besides cheering at games they spend many hours after school painting signs to promote spirit. If by chance you didn't have the spirit, all you had to do was find a Varsity cheerleader, buy a spirit towel, and fake it.
